Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology seeks an Emerging Capabilities Architect for USSTRATCOM-related modernization at Offutt AFB, NE. You will translate agency needs into innovative IT solutions, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure mission readiness with cost-aware decisions.

Requires a Master’s in a STEM field, Top Secret/SCI eligibility, and ITIL 4 Foundation; DoD cyber certs are also required. Offutt AFB location offers full-flex work and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise project management and IT operations support for USAF and DoD IT programs.
• Experience implementing emerging capabilities and infrastructure modernization.
• Evaluates impact of emerging technology on capabilities and mission readiness.
• Develops project plans by identifying problem areas and multiple solutions.
• Provides cost analyses for new/upgrade infrastructure within budget.
• Reviews design drawings and specs and recommends updates.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering is desirable.
• A strong Systems Engineering background is essential.
