Job summary

HKS, Inc. seeks an entry-level architect to support project teams with basic design and technical tasks under supervision. You will apply standard architectural techniques and collaborate across disciplines to develop implementation documents and samples.

The role emphasizes learning, organization, and contributing creatively while participating in on-site visits, client meetings, and project coordination. 0–3 years’ experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Accredited professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience typically expected.
• On the path to Architectural Registration; sustainable design accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper is required; intermediate preferred.
• Experience with Navisworks, Dynamo and visualization tools a plus.
• Solid knowledge of MS Office and presentation/graphic software.

Responsibilities

• Modifies or creates implementation documents using standard architectural techniques.
• Performs routine architectural tasks with potential design responsibility.
• Supports proposals, presentations, schedules and documentation.
• Coordinates with other disciplines, vendors and contractors to meet project needs.
• Attends team meetings and may participate in site visits and client meetings.
• Travelling may be required.
