VEG ER for Pets in New York is looking for an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to provide top-notch emergency care to pets. The role includes responsibilities such as triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing, ensuring the best support for patients and their families.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of experience and be credentialed as a Veterinary Technician. Competitive compensation of $28.00–$50.00/hr and comprehensive benefits are offered from day one.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state.
• 1+ years of veterinary technician experience; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, lift up to 25 kg alone and up to 40 kg with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary nursing care and support through critical moments.
• Manage medications and emergency procedures.
• Assist with diagnostics, imaging, and anesthesia.
