Job summary

Rarebreed Veterinary Partners’ Veterinary Emergency Center of Canton in Canton, CT, seeks a DVM to join a collaborative team offering urgent care with board-certified surgical support.

You’ll work with board-certified surgeons, manage a varied caseload using in-house diagnostics, imaging, pharmacy and labs, and grow in a down-to-earth culture with mentorship and scheduling that fits your life.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree required.
• Active veterinary license or eligibility in Connecticut.
• Strong clinical judgment and a collaborative approach under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent veterinary care for dogs and cats; open to other small pets as discussed.
• Collaborate with board-certified surgeons and a skilled support team to provide gold standard care.
• Manage a varied caseload using in-house diagnostics, imaging, pharmacy and lab services.
• Work within a team-driven environment that prioritizes patient outcomes and client experience.
