Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic in Warren, ME is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join as a part-time associate. You’ll manage a diverse emergency caseload, perform surgeries when needed, and collaborate closely with referring veterinarians in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.

Located in beautiful midcoast Maine, the clinic offers modern in-house diagnostics, a fully equipped surgical suite, and flexible scheduling with customized incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM degree required or equivalent.
• 2+ years of veterinary medicine experience preferred.
• ME veterinary license or ability to attain.
• Experience in emergency/critical care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries in pets; provide surgical or medical treatment.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and within the hospital ecosystem.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay at the top of the field.
• Educate clients on sanitary measures, feeding, and general pet care.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Advise animal owners about sanitary measures, feeding, and general care to promote the health of animals

• Base salary ( $92,500 - $100,000) with production

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree or equivalent degree required
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
