Midcoast Animal Emergency Clinic in Warren, ME is seeking a compassionate Emergency Veterinarian for a part-time associate position. Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree required and ME license or eligibility.
• 2+ years of veterinary practice preferred; emergency experience a plus.
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License and work in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries in pets, perform surgeries as needed.
• Collaborate with referring veterinarians and our veterinary ecosystem.
• Engage in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay current.
• Advise pet owners on care, sanitation, and nutrition to promote health.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Examine and diagnose diseases and injuries of pets (primarily dogs and cats), and treat surgically or medically
• Collaborate within our veterinary ecosystem, and communicate with referring veterinarians
• Participate in ongoing education, seminars, and training to stay at the top of your field
• Advise animal owners about sanitary measures, feeding, and general care to promote the health of animals

BENEFITS

• Base salary ( $92,500 - $100,000) with production

REQUIREMENTS

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree or equivalent degree required
• 2+ years of experience practicing veterinary medicine in a Veterinary Hospital setting is preferred
• Internship training is also preferred but not required
• Ability to attain ME Veterinary License
