Job summary

VEG is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian in Los Angeles to join a 24/7 emergency team. You will provide urgent medical care, perform surgeries and endoscopy, and lead on the hospital floor with strong mentorship and ongoing VEG Education programs.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree is required.
• Live and breathe emergency medicine, including emergency surgery and endoscopy.
• Willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Handle emergencies and complex surgeries with confidence.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and supportive diagnostics.
• Create diagnostic and therapeutic plans for patients and discuss options with clients.
• Educate clients on aftercare and preventative measures when appropriate.
• Collaborate with team to ensure high-quality patient care and outcomes.
