Job summary

Heart of Texas, part of Thrive Pet Healthcare, is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian in Round Rock, TX. You’ll deliver urgent care, perform surgeries, and manage hospitalized cases within a collaborative, nationwide network that supports growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree required.
• Active state veterinary license in good standing.
• Active DEA license or eligibility.
• Experience in emergency medicine or emergency internship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care for sick or injured patients.
• Perform surgeries and deliver critical care.
• Develop and oversee treatment plans with the veterinary team.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure high-quality execution.
