Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital, Christiana in Newark, DE is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our team. Our flexible scheduling and mentorship programs offer a path for new grads or those transitioning to emergency medicine without ER training.

We offer an annual base salary up to $178,000 (experience-based), sign-on bonus, relocation support, and additional production bonuses along with comprehensive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree required; state license to practice in the applicable state.
• Completion of rotating internship or residency in emergency/critical care preferred but not required.
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with ability to work in fast-paced emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Deliver expert emergency veterinary care to critically ill or injured pets.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide optimal treatment.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding conditions and treatment plans.
• Engage in ongoing learning and contribute to BluePearl's commitment to exceptional care.
