Job summary

VCA Seaside Animal Hospital is seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join our Florida team. This role focuses on fast-paced, high-quality care with opportunities to expand surgical skills across our three locations, including Palm Coast opening in Spring 2026.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program.
• Be licensed or able to be licensed in Florida.
• Minimum of two years of experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Surgery experience preferred.
• Strong communication, ethics and integrity, and continuous learning commitment.
• Highly motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with clients and relationships with referring veterinarians.
• Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of mixed animal cases.
• Perform advanced surgical procedures.
• Maintain a high level of client communication and patient care.
• Write and maintain medical records.
• Guide and utilize exceptional support staff.
• Maintain a positive work environment and promote teamwork.
