North Alabama Veterinary Emergency & Specialty is excited to offer opportunities to join our expanding Emergency Department as an Emergency Veterinarian Mentee! We have recently moved to a state-of-the-art facility in Madison, AL, and are looking for dedicated Emergency Clinicians to join our team.

The ER Immerse Program prepares veterinarians for a sustainable career in emergency medicine. Unlike traditional internships, it focuses on core competencies, clinical skills, client and team communication, professional development, and work-life balance.

The program combines simulation-based didactics with real clinical experience, using an evidence-based curriculum designed for success as an emergency clinician.

Program Duration/Commitment

· 6-month training starting June 2025 (flexible dates)

· 2-year ER clinician commitment at NAVES post-training
