Ethos ER Immerse Mentorship Program in Albuquerque, New Mexico invites veterinarians to join a 6–12 month training and mentorship track designed to prepare you for a sustained ER career at Route 66 ECCC. The program provides a competency‑based curriculum, simulation and live cases, dedicated mentors on every shift, and the opportunity to rotate with specialty services before transitioning to an ER clinician role.
The 2‑year commitment begins after training.
Route 66 ECC is seeking veterinarians passionate about working in emergency medicine for our 6-12 month training and mentorship program. We are looking for individuals who are team-oriented, driven, reflective, and reliable to train with us and transition into an ER position at Route 66 ECC.

With a diverse emergency caseload, advanced diagnostic capabilities, and a highly collaborative team, Route 66 ECCC provides an outstanding environment for both experienced ER veterinarians and doctors beginning their emergency careers through our ER Immerse mentorship program.
The ER Immerse Program will prepare veterinarians for a sustainable and satisfying career in emergency medicine. Built from the ground up to be different than traditional rotating internship programs, the ERi program has been developed around a curriculum of core competencies essential for an emergency veterinarian. In addition to providing training around clinical knowledge and skills, the program also includes a focus on client and team member communication, professional skills, and life/work integration.
The ER Immerse program utilizes a hybrid training approach incorporating simulation-based didactic components into authentic training experiences with live patients. The curriculum is designed using an evidence-based strategy identifying competencies and skills deemed essential for a successful career as an emergency clinician.

Work authorization in the United States is a requirement for the position. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the company, but candidates eligible for TN status may be considered.
