Job summary

The Animal Medical Center of Seattle is seeking an Associate Emergency Veterinarian in Shoreline, WA. This full-time role provides high-quality medical care in a fast-paced emergency setting, focusing on compassionate service for pets and their families.

Responsibilities include triage, diagnostics, surgery, and overnight care, while maintaining detailed medical records and collaborating with specialists. A DVM and state licensure are required, with 5 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• DVM degree from AVMA-accredited college or foreign equivalent; ECFVG or PAVE certification acceptable.
• Eligible for state licensure as a veterinarian in Washington.

Responsibilities

• Advance medicine quality and provide exceptional client service.
• Build rapport with clients; gather information and empathize with concerns.
• Examine animals to diagnose diseases or injuries; determine treatment plans.
• Perform surgery or other therapies; manage a busy ER caseload and overnight care.
• Maintain medical records and logs; stay current with veterinary advances.
