Compensation: $170-185K annual salary DOE

We are here for your pet’s emergencies. The emergency pet hospital is open 24/7. When your pet has an urgent need and your family’s regular vet is unavailable, our skilled veterinary team is ready to support your pet with compassionate care.

Our team at Elk Grove Veterinary Specialty & Emergency provides a high level of veterinary care to the Elk Grove community. Our care is maintained by state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and highly trained staff dedicated to treating your pet.

OUR HOME

Elk Grove Village offers a strong sense of community with numerous events and attractions, including parks, athletic fields, indoor playgrounds, a carousel, dance studios, and a golf course. It is an excellent destination for individuals, couples, or families seeking a Chicago suburb to settle into.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Build relationships with colleagues, clients, and support staff to ensure a compassionate and collaborative work environment.
2. Foster a learning environment for colleagues, support staff, and veterinary students.
3. Triage and facilitate treatment plans for emergency patients.
4. Continue care of hospitalized specialty patients overnight and on weekends.
5. Maintain complete and accurate medical records.
6. Provide clear and complete communication to clients and support staff.
7. Communicate with referral partners verbally and with referral letters.
8. Attend morning rounds to collaborate with specialists on hospitalized patients.
9. Maintain a positive and supportive work culture.
10. Support the hospital's Fear-Free culture and commitment.
