  • Diagnostic ECG
  • Oxygen kennels
  • High-flow oxygen

  • HD endoscopy
  • Advanced anesthesia support
  • Collaborative specialty and emergency departments
  • Established referral relationships throughout Central Texas

The hospital is equipped to manage everything from routine emergencies to complex and critically ill patients.

Schedule & Quality of Life

Sustainable emergency medicine requires a schedule and environment that support physicians over the long term.

This position offers:

  • Consistent day/swing schedule
  • No overnight schedule for this opening
  • Dedicated technician support
  • Collaborative ER team
  • Strong specialty backup
  • Emphasis on work-life balance
  • Supportive, team-oriented culture
  • Long-term professional growth opportunities

  • DVM or VMD from an accredited institution
  • Current Texas veterinary license or eligibility for Texas licensure
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative approach to patient care
  • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based medicine

Experienced ER veterinarians are encouraged to apply, as are motivated General Practitioners interested in making the transition into emergency medicine.
