Job summary

Premier Pet Emergency Clinic in Louisiana is seeking an experienced Doctor of Veterinary Medicine to join our fast-paced emergency team. You’ll provide emergency and critical care for dogs and cats, perform diagnostics, triage, and treatment planning, and communicate options and costs clearly to pet owners.

We value collaboration with skilled technicians and staff, uphold strong clinical judgment, and maintain detailed medical records while delivering high-quality urgent care around the clock.

Qualifications

• DVM degree and Louisiana license (or eligible).
• Emergency veterinary experience preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency and critical care for small animal patients (dogs and cats).
• Perform diagnostics, triage, and treatment planning.
• Conduct emergency surgeries and procedures.
• Communicate treatment options and costs to pet owners.
• Work collaboratively with technicians and support staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
