As an Emergency Veterinarian, you will:
Provide emergency medical care for canine and feline patients
Triage, diagnose, and stabilise urgent and critical cases
Develop treatment plans and communicate options with clients
Perform emergency procedures and medical interventions
Manage hospitalised emergency patients
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and medical teams
Maintain accurate medical records
Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care
Participate in mentorship and continued learning opportunities
Support a culture of teamwork and clinical excellence
The ideal candidate will have:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree or equivalent qualification
Current veterinary licence in good standing, or eligibility to obtain licensure, in New Mexico
Commitment to practising the highest standards of veterinary medicine
Strong emergency medicine interest and clinical decision-making skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
A compassionate approach to patient and client care
