Ethos Veterinary Health's IndyVet hospital in Indianapolis, IN seeks an experienced Emergency Veterinarian to join our 24-hour emergency and specialty team. We provide board-certified support and advanced facilities for complex cases, with a collaborative, high‑standard care culture.

You will practice world‑class medicine in a modern, AAHA-accredited setting. This role offers a full-time rotating schedule with nine consecutive days off each month, competitive benefits, and ongoing opportunities

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Rotating internship or emergency medicine experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset for high-paced care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care through receiving new cases, triage, and managing hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration and learning.
