Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is expanding to add an Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian for overnight coverage. We seek a skilled DVM with a passion for emergency medicine to lead or join a new overnight service in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.

Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome, with flexible scheduling to support work-life balance. The clinic offers a modern facility, comprehensive diagnostics, and a strong support team to ensure high-quality patient care.

Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital is excited to announce an expansion of our well-established daytime general practice, and we’re looking for an Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growth!

About the Role:

You will provide essential emergency and urgent care services to patients when they need them most, working alongside a skilled and collaborative support team while helping to establish the protocols, workflows, and overall success of this exciting new service. This position is dedicated to overnight coverage, offering the opportunity to practice in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. Both full-time and part-time candidates will be considered, and flexible scheduling options are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university

Current DEA License or obtained upon hire

Active Veterinary Florida State License

USDA Accreditation or obtained upon hire
