Job summary

Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital - West Springfield in Western Massachusetts seeks an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join a collaborative team. The role offers a starting salary of $150,000+ with tiered production bonuses, plus a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

This full-time position features four 9-hour shifts weekly (9am–6pm) across our busy two-site network, with mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree required.
• Completion of a rotating internship or 2+ years' experience as a veterinarian preferred.
• Experience in emergency or urgent care medicine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality urgent care medicine to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and medical conditions.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

In your day-to-day, you will:

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or 2+ years' experience as a veterinarian. Experience in emergency or urgent care medicine is preferred.
