Job summary

Ethos is seeking an experienced emergency veterinarian for Western Massachusetts, serving the Pioneer Valley and surrounding regions from our South Deerfield or West Springfield locations.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state licensure.
• Completion of a rotating internship or 2+ years’ experience practicing emergency medicine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for urgent and emergent cases.
• Provide comprehensive emergency care with a balanced mix of new cases, triage, and hospitalized patients.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Communicate clearly with pet owners during stressful situations.
• Contribute to a positive team culture through collaboration and ongoing learning.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.

• Provide comprehensive emergency care through a balanced mix of receiving new emergency cases, triaging incoming patients, and managing hospitalized patients throughout their course of treatment.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
