Situated just south of San Francisco, North Peninsula Veterinary Emergency Clinic (NPVEC) has been a cornerstone of the Bay Area Peninsula since 1973. For over 50 years, we've built strong relationships with our founding local veterinarians and welcomed new practitioners as they establish their hospitals. We are proud to provide comprehensive 24/7 emergency and urgent care for companion animals—dogs, cats, rabbits, avian species, reptiles, and small mammals (pocket pets). Our team communicates closely with local veterinarians to ensure seamless updates and follow-up care for their patients.

Flexible Scheduling to Fit Your Life We know the importance of work-life balance! Our rotating schedule includes day and overnight shifts on weekdays and weekends, with7-10consecutive days off per month. This unique setup gives you the flexibility to explore the surrounding area, spend time with loved ones, or simply recharge.

What We're Looking For

• Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• California State Licensure
• Minimum of two years of emergency experience
  
  

Competitive Compensation

• Pro/sal compensation: $180–200K annually (based on experience) with 23–24% production
• Generous sign-on bonus
• Opportunity to work 10–12 shifts per month
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance options, a 401K with company match, and flexible spending account or health savings account options.
• Additionally, we provide long-term disability options, short-term disability paid for by the employer, and complimentary life insurance of $15,000 with options to purchase additional coverage.
