Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency + Referral in Portland, Oregon is seeking internship-trained or experienced emergency doctors to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital. We place a strong emphasis on a supportive culture, continuous learning, and uncompromising patient care within a privately owned, locally managed facility.

Our team includes 3 Surgeons, 2 Internists, 3 Neurologists, 1 Radiologist and a full ER/ICU staff with 7-day imaging services.

Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree or eligible to practice in Oregon.
• Internship trained or experienced in veterinary emergency medicine.
• Commitment to continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency veterinary care around the clock.
• Collaborate with specialists and ER colleagues to manage cases.
• Participate in rounds and in-house training.

Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency + Referral - Portland, Oregon

Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Referral is ready to welcome more internship trained or experienced emergency doctors to join our Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This is a hospital that places a high value on its employees. The environment at BVER is very supportive and our focus is to develop and maintain a positive culture. We strive for excellent medicine and excellent patient care. We are privately owned and locally managed. The fully equipped and staffed ER and ICU will help you to manage all your cases to the highest standard. Our ideal candidate is collaborative, self-motivated, enjoys community outreach and is willing to promote and maintain an outstanding hospital culture.

Our specialties include 3 Surgeons, 2 Internists, 3 neurologists, 1 Radiologist, 7 day a week imaging services, an Ophthalmologist, 4 Criticalists, 1 Cardiologist and a full team of ER doctors! There is no general practice associated with the hospital, but we do have a 7 day a week Urgent Care Department.

We have daily case rounds each morning to provide an opportunity for continuous learning. We have weekly in-house training for doctors and technicians. The support staff is highly trained and enthusiastic about continuing education as well. This position offers clinicians a unique opportunity to work in a growing, well-equipped, state-of-the-art facility, side-by-side with a skilled group of specialists and ER colleagues.
