Mount Dora Veterinary Hospital in Florida is expanding its daytime practice by adding an Emergency/Urgent Care Veterinarian to join our growing team. This role focuses on overnight coverage, providing essential ER services with a skilled support staff.

Qualifications

• DVM licensed or eligible to practice in Florida.

• Proficient in urgent care / ER cases and related surgeries.

• Provide essential emergency and urgent care services overnight.
• Collaborate with a skilled support team and establish protocols for after-hours care.
• Help implement workflows and contribute to the growth of the new service.

Job Description

• DVM Licensed (or eligible) in Florida.
• Experience or strong interest in emergency/urgent care.
• Skilled in urgent care / ER cases and surgery.
• Night Owl, a DVM who prefers working overnights
• Confident, compassionate, and ready to help build something new.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university

Current DEA License or obtained upon hire

Active Veterinary Florida State License
