Job summary

CASE is a well-established, multi-disciplinary referral and emergency hospital located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado. This full-time Emergency Veterinarian role offers a base salary of $150,000 - $160,000 plus production, with a rotating schedule including days, swings, nights, and overnights.

You will collaborate with specialists across critical care, surgery, internal medicine, and more in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Minimum internship trained or three years of experience in emergency medicine (FT) for our ideal candidate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency and critical care to a diverse caseload of companion animals.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critically ill or injured patients using evidence-based medicine.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

You’ll collaborate daily with specialists in Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Oncology (including Radiation and Surgical), Urology/Nephrology, Anesthesia, Dental, and Cardiology.
