PetVet Care Centers’ Animal Emergency Center in Memphis is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, high-volume emergency hospital team. You will provide compassionate patient care, assist with examinations, surgeries, and diagnostics while documenting patient information and communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current TN Veterinary Technician License.
• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant/technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by determining animal requirements and assisting with exams and procedures.
• Support surgery by preparing supplies and restraining patients as directed.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and monitor patient responses.
• Maintain medical records and update the database accurately.
• Communicate with pet owners about patient status per veterinarian directions.
• Sterilize equipment and maintain a clean, safe hospital environment.
• Assist with triage, admissions, discharges, and inventory management.
