Qualifications

• Proven leadership abilities in a veterinary team.
• Credentialed veterinary technician or equivalent preferred.
• Strong training and mentoring skills to develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor to lower-level staff by demonstrating positive work habits, effective clinical skills and business knowledge.
• Coach team members to anticipate and address patient and client needs, and manage escalated situations.
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to organize tech and assistant meetings.
• Organize training schedules for Technician staff.
• Identify conflicts in the workplace and seek resolution.
• Provide feedback to leadership and assist with performance improvement plans.
