VEG ER for Pets seeks an experienced Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team in New York. You will triage, treat, and support a wide range of cases with doctors and teammates, delivering compassionate care to pets and their families.

Qualified candidates are CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT in the state, with 1+ years of emergency or specialty experience, and strong communication. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and ongoing mentorship in a fast-paced setting.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in veterinary technology strongly preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state is required; VTS in ECC/internal medicine/anesthesia is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and medical record software proficiency.
• Excellent communication and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care and treatments in emergency/critical situations.
• Support tests, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Coordinate triage, treatments, and discharge planning with doctors and team.
• Assist with CPR and advanced life support as needed.
• Operate diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
• Assist in anesthesia for patients, including fragile cases.
• Utilize advanced techniques and equipment as part of patient care.
