Job summary

Animal Emergency Center of Sandy Springs is seeking an experienced Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, team-focused hospital in Sandy Springs, GA. This full-time role offers a consistent 12-hour schedule with 8:00 AM–8:00 PM shifts and Friday–Monday coverage.

You will work with emergency veterinarians, perform triage, monitor patients, assist with anesthesia and diagnostics, and provide compassionate, high-quality patient care while supporting families.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
• Experience in emergency, urgent care, or high-volume general practice.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care during emergencies under veterinarians.
• Perform triage, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and monitoring.
• Administer medications and assist with anesthesia and surgeries.
• Maintain accurate medical records and client communication.
