Job summary

Eastside Animal Hospital in Northwest Arkansas is offering a paid Veterinary Student Externship at our Fort Smith location. This FAST-paced general practice serves small animals with a range of services, and provides real-world mentorship and exposure to clinical skills.

We seek active AVMA-accredited veterinary students who are compassionate, team players with strong communication abilities and a desire to gain hands-on experience through flexible scheduling and 1:1 mentorship.

Qualifications

• Must be an Active Veterinary Student from an AVMA Accredited Institution.
• Externship offers 1:1 mentorship and guidance.
• This is a paid externship with flexible scheduling and future employment opportunities.

Eastside Animal Hospital is a well-established, progressive, FAST paced 3 doctorsmall animalgeneral practice located in Northwest Arkansas. We offer many services to provide the best comprehensive care to our patients includingPreventative Care, Laser-assisted Surgery, Dentistry, Laser Therapy, In‑House Diagnostics, Digital full body radiology, Ultrasonography, Acupuncture, Medical and/or Vacation Boarding and more.

Eastside Animal Hospital is located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The proximity to Interstate 40 and I-49 allows for easy commute to Little Rock, and Fayetteville/Springdale. Sebastian County public schools are excellent, making it an ideal area to raise a family!
