BluePearl Pet Hospital in Buffalo, NY is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled Full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team. The role involves triage of emergency cases, assisting DVM, diagnostics, ICU care, discharge instructions, and client communication.

Qualificações

• Previous emergency veterinary assistant experience preferred.
• Ability to triage cases and communicate with clients.
• Comfort with radiographs, lab work, and ICU setup.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with nursing care to patients according to hospital standards of care and core values.
• Stock, clean and maintain cleanliness in ER, ICU and other designated areas.
• Understand classification of commonly used medications, monitor side effects and response.
• Administer medications under the guidance of an LVT.
• Perform radiography and lab work.
