Job summary

Kerr Industries, a Safe Fleet Brand, is seeking full-time Automotive Installers for the Day Shift in Detroit, MI. You will install equipment to convert brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles, reading electrical schematics and following drawings.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, experience with automotive electrical and mechanical systems, and a valid driver's license. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, 401(k) and bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Install equipment to convert brand-new vehicles into police and emergency vehicles.
• Read drawings and electrical schematics with limited guidance.
• Disassemble and reassemble factory vehicles as needed.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and accurate records.
