Qualifications

• Mechanic experience, preferably with heavy duty or emergency vehicles.
• Electrical diagnostic skills a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• EVT certification a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, and hydraulics.
• Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on fire trucks and ambulances.
• Accurately documenting repairs and labor time.
• Completing safety inspections and ensuring vehicle readiness.
• Maintaining a clean work area following safety standards.
