Job summary

Global Medical Response is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician (VST) in Knoxville to ensure ambulances are serviced, safe and ready for response. This full-time role supports our emergency and patient relocation services.

You will perform daily vehicle inventory checks, conduct mechanical inspections, document findings, and coordinate with Fleet and operations teams to keep vehicles in top condition. Minimum qualifications include a state driver's license and a high school diploma or GED;

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state driver’s license.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Driving record complies with company policy.
• Preferred: some healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure ambulances are fully stocked, maintained and ready for service.
• Maintain a safe, clean vehicle environment for the crew and patients.
• Perform daily vehicle inventory checks and update equipment logs.
• Conduct regular mechanical checks (oil, fluids, batteries) and report issues to the Fleet Manager.
• Document information per policies and safeguard information security standards.
• Coordinate with departments, crews and other vehicle service techs.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and safety teams.
