Job summary

Hospital to Home LLC is seeking a safety‑conscious Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) to join our Mobile Healthcare team. The EVO will operate ambulances and emergency response vehicles during emergency and non‑emergency transports, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and timely service delivery.

In collaboration with EMTs and paramedics, you will perform daily vehicle inspections, assist with patient handling, and support on‑scene logistics while following HIPAA and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current EVOC certification required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record for 3+ years.
• Strong knowledge of local roadways and GPS systems.
• Ability to work under pressure in EMS settings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate emergency vehicles during emergencies, interfacility transfers, and non-emergency transports.
• Drive following local, state, and federal traffic laws.
• Assist with loading/unloading patients, stretchers, and equipment.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and ensure readiness at shift start/end.
• Support EMS crew with on-scene logistics and safety duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, EMS personnel, and healthcare facilities.
• Complete documentation and maintenance reports accurately and promptly.
• Uphold HIPAA, safety, and infection control protocols.

The EVO is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of ambulances and emergency response vehicles during both emergency and non-emergency transports.
