Job summary

Hospital to Home LLC is seeking a Safety‑conscious Emergency Vehicle Operator (EVO) to join our Mobile Healthcare team. You will safely operate ambulances and assist EMTs during urgent and non‑emergency transports, ensuring patient safety and timely service delivery.

Responsibilities include vehicle checks, on‑scene safety support, and meticulous documentation while upholding HIPAA and infection control protocols. Night/weekend work and physical demands are involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license for 3+ years with a clean driving record.
• Current EVOC certification.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Prior experience operating emergency vehicles or healthcare transportation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local roadways and safe driving techniques.
• Excellent communication, time management and customer service skills.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate ambulances and emergency response vehicles during urgent and non‑emergency transports.
• Drive following local, state, and federal laws and best practices for EMS vehicles.
• Assist with loading/unloading patients, stretchers, and equipment.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs.

• Support EMS crew with on‑scene logistics and safety duties as needed.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, EMS personnel, and healthcare facilities.
• Complete documentation and maintenance reports accurately and promptly.
• Uphold HIPAA and infection control protocols.

The EVO is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of ambulances and emergency response vehicles during both emergency and non-emergency transports.
