You will interpret wiring diagrams, troubleshoot systems, and maintain thorough documentation while delivering professional customer service. Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in automotive electrical systems, own basic hand tools, and solid

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience installing and servicing 12-volt automotive electrical systems.
• Experience with emergency vehicle, public safety, or fleet vehicle upfitting preferred.
• Must provide your own basic hand tools; specialty tools are provided by the company.
• Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with excellent time management and detail orientation.
• Self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision.
• Dependable, reliable, and driven with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and records.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• EVT/MECP certifications or manufacturer training are assets.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work inside vehicles for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure public safety equipment: lights, sirens, cages, consoles, partitions, radios, and modems.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams and manufacturer instructions accurately.
• Install, de-install, upgrade, and repair automotive electronics following company standards.
• Troubleshoot vehicle systems to ensure safety and performance.
• Maintain service paperwork and documentation of work performed.
• Interact with customers professionally and provide basic technical support.
• Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and support projects.
