Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an Emergency Trauma Department Clerical Associate I to greet patients and attending physicians, register patients accurately, conduct insurance verification, and maintain the Emergency Trauma Department tracking system. Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or GED equivalent programs.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in record keeping.

• Greet all patients and attending physicians in the Emergency Trauma Department.
• Register patients accurately and conduct insurance verification.
• Maintain the Emergency Trauma Department tracking system.
• Assist in maintaining appropriate telephone communications within the Emergency Trauma Department, including the switchboard.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in record keeping.
