Job summary

Apollo Knowledge Ventures Limited is seeking Paramedics/EMTs for an ambulance service in Chennai. The role requires clinical expertise to provide high-quality pre-hospital care and efficient patient transfers in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have GNM / B.Sc. Nursing / EMT training, 2–3 years’ staff nursing experience and at least 1 year of ambulance/BLS/ACLS exposure. Rotational shifts and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have valid EMT/paramedics qualifications and clinical training.
• Strong ability to stabilize patients and assess emergencies.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and hospital teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical care and patient stabilization during ambulance transport.
• Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs.
• Administer BLS/ACLS interventions as required.
• Assist in trauma, cardiac, respiratory and critical care emergencies.
• Document patient details and treatment accurately.
• Maintain ambulance equipment, medicines and supplies.
• Coordinate with hospitals, doctors and emergency teams.
• Follow safety and infection control protocols.
• Deliver compassionate patient care at all times.

*About the Role*

We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Paramedics / Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to join a reputed ambulance service organization. The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, emergency response skills, and the ability to provide high-quality pre-hospital patient care during medical emergencies and patient transfers.

*Key Responsibilities*

• * Provide emergency medical care and patient stabilization during ambulance transportation.
• * Assess patient condition and monitor vital signs.
• * Administer first aid, BLS, and ACLS interventions as required.
• * Assist in managing trauma, cardiac, respiratory, and critical care emergencies.
• * Ensure proper documentation of patient details and treatment provided.
• * Maintain ambulance equipment, medicines, and emergency supplies.
• * Coordinate with hospitals, doctors, and emergency response teams.
• * Follow all safety, infection control, and clinical protocols.
• * Deliver compassionate and professional patient care at all times.

*Candidate Requirements*

• *Qualification* : GNM / B.Sc. Nursing/EMT Coursw
• *Experience:
• * Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Staff Nurse
• * Minimum 1 year of Ambulance, BLS, ACLS, or EMT experience
• * ACLS Certification preferred
• Strong communication and patient-handling skills
• Ability to work in emergency situations and rotational shifts
• Physically fit and willing to travel with ambulance teams
