MetroWest Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an Emergency Tech I to support the ED team in Framingham. The role provides patient care under RN and physician direction, following established procedures and hospital policies.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent and current EMT-B or EMT-I certification with BLS. Preferred experience as an EMT and completion of an EMT program. Join us to grow your clinical skills in a busy hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Current EMT-Basic (EMT-B) or EMT-Intermediate (EMT-I) certification; BLS.
• Emergency Medical Technician experience is preferred.
• Graduate of an EMT program is preferred.

Responsabilités

• This position will support all facilities in the market as needed.
• May require prior experience with IV insertion, blood draws and placing 12 Lead ECGs.
• Provides care to patients under RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques.
• Adheres to hospital policies and standards of practice in the ED and related areas.
• Performs related duties as required.

Job Summary

The Emergency Tech I holds shift accountability for providing care to patients in accordance with RN direction, physician direction, and recognized techniques, standards of practices and hospital policy and procedures in the emergency department and related areas.
