Job summary

EMERGENCY SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS

Job Title: Emergency SubstituteTeachers Reports to: Building Administrators FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

We are looking for qualified candidates with a Bachelors Degree to join the Certificated substitute staff. These are at will, on-call substitute positions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree or higher;


• Able to obtain a Washington State Emergency Substitute Certification


• Experience working with children and students preferred;


• Ability to communicateprofessionally with students, parents/guardians, administrators and other school staff;


• Ability to follow and enforce rules, policies and procedures;


• Must be punctual and reliable;


• Fingerprint background check is required;


• Must pass a criminal background check that meets required state, federal, and Clarkston School District standards;


• Safe Schools Training is REQUIRED , and needs to be completed BEFOREstart date
