Job summary

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, seeks dependable Shelter Supervisors for emergency response operations across statewide locations. You will assist the Shelter Manager, oversee shift workers, ensure resident safety, and coordinate services during crises.

These seasonal deployments may require travel on short notice, with assignments lasting several days to weeks. Availability within 24–72 hours of notification is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in emergency shelter operations, human services, or supervisory roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shift operations and guide Shelter Workers.
• Ensure residents receive meals, hygiene supplies, and medical assistance.
• Serve as point of contact during shifts and address residents' needs.
• Monitor shelter conditions and report safety issues.
• Assist with shift scheduling, documentation, and incident reporting.
• Maintain communication between shelter teams and ensure smooth shift transitions.
• Enforce shelter rules and resolve conflicts professionally.
• Ensure compliance with shelter protocols and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
