Solano County's Sheriff’s Office seeks an Emergency Services Technician to support the Office of Emergency Services in planning and coordinating multi-hazard response and recovery efforts. This extra-help role assists the Emergency Services Manager and contributes to countywide preparedness and emergency operations.

The Emergency Services Technician, under general direction, assists the Emergency Services Manager in planning and coordinating multi-hazard emergency response and recovery activities in support of the County's Office of Emergency Services; performs related duties as required.
The Sheriff's Office is currently looking to hire an extra-help employee. The eligible list created as a result of this recruitment will be used to fill full-time and part-time regular, limited-term or extra-help positions as vacancies occur throughout the County.
Education and Experience: Any combination of education, training, and experience which demonstrates possession and competency in requisite knowledge and abilities.
Typical qualifying education and/or experience would be: Equivalent to two years of full-time paid experience in emergency services related activities.
College transcripts may be required for this position.
If qualifying under the education requirement, candidates must submit a copy of their official/unofficial college transcripts (which verify the student, institution, courses and units completed) by the final filing date. Candidates who fail to submit their transcripts by the final filing date may be disqualified from the recruitment.
