Job summary

Loma Linda University Health is seeking an Emergency Services Technician to function as a PCA, Telemetry Technician, or Unit Secretary under RN/physician supervision in a Level I trauma ED. The role requires flexibility and strong customer service in a culturally diverse setting.

Education includes a high school diploma and a basic arrhythmia recognition course; CNA or basic nursing fundamentals are required, with EMT as a possible alternative. Prior patient-care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of basic arrhythmia recognition course is required.
• CNA program or School of Nursing fundamentals completion is required.
• EMT program may be considered in lieu of CNA.
• Minimum six months experience as Paramedic transport, TT, US or PCA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under supervision in a fast-paced ED.
• Assist as Telemetry Technician, Unit Secretary, or PCA as assignments change.
• Maintain professional communication and customer service with patients and families.
• Support nursing staff and other care team members as needed.
