Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse for a PRN role in Emergency Services. This position offers flexible PRN scheduling and a gateway to participate in the State Retirement Program.

The ideal candidate will have an Associate's Degree, SC Nursing License (or compact state), BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. You will provide patient-centered care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and uphold standards of practice

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required; one year RN experience.
• Licensure as an RN by SC Board of Nursing or compact state.
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and lead other team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide age-appropriate care.
• Maintain patient safety, privacy, and respectful, professional behavior; participate in shared governance and quality improvement.
