Job summary

CommonSpirit Memorial is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, performing assessments, procedures, and implementing care plans. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent, TN RN license, and BLS; ACLS and PALS within specified timelines are preferred to support patient safety and recovery.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent, required at hire.
• Licensed RN in TN at hire.
• BLS/CPR by hire; ACLS within 120 days; PALS within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients; perform procedures and nursing tasks.
• Administer medications per patients’ rights and safety policies.
• Escalate rapidly changing conditions and communicate with care team.
• Prevent falls and skin breakdown; follow safety policies and procedures.
• Advocate for patients and provide education to patients and families.
