Job summary

AZ General Hospital Laveen, part of CommonSpirit Health, is seeking an Emergency Services Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced ED setting. You will perform critical assessments, implement care plans, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.

The role requires an active AZ or Compact State RN license, at least two years of recent ED experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Responsibilities

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities with patient comfort in mind.
• Demonstrates accountability for ethical behavior and supports ethical practice by escalation when needed.
• Recognizes limits of scope of practice and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
• Responds promptly to changes in patient condition and delegates safely based on status and competency.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
