Job summary

Dignity Health's Arizona General Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care and coordinate patient plans in a fast-paced setting.

You will perform assessments, participate in interdisciplinary rounds, and advocate for patients while maintaining safety and quality in care delivery.

Qualifications

• ADN/BSN/MSN required; RN license in AZ upon hire.
• CPR/BLS required; ACLS and PALS upon hire.

• Provides comprehensive, safe, and effective, evidence-based nursing care to achieve desired health outcomes for the patient.
• Organizes and prioritizes patient care activities balanced with the needs and comfort of the patient.
• Demonstrates accountability for own ethical behavior, and supports ethical practice by addressing and/or escalating issues.
• Serves as an advocated for patients needs by demonstrating holistic care practices.
• Demonstrates the ability to recognize and adapt to changes in patients conditions (i.e. Lab, vitals, signs and test values) in a timely and clinically appropriate manner.
• Utilizes SBAR format tool to notify physicians, and other providers of clinical findings, performs nurse to nurse report at the bedside.

Job Requirements

Required

• Associate Of Nursing Diploma from an accredited school of nursing, BSN, or MSN, Foreign Equivalent., upon hire or
• Bachelors Of Nursing, upon hire or
• Registered Nurse: AZ, upon hire and
• Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support, upon hire and
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support, upon hire

Preferred

• Two (2) years Emergency Room RN experience.
