Job summary

Abrazo West Campus, a Level I Trauma Center in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a Director of Emergency Services (RN) to lead a busy ED and drive quality, culture, and growth.

The role partners with executives and physicians to elevate outcomes, mentor future leaders, and optimize operations. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates, with a focus on shaping the department’s next chapter.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Management or related field, or equivalent minimum experience requirements.
• Experience: Five years nursing management in hospital setting with three years supervisory experience.
• Licensure/Certification: Current Arizona Registered Nurse License.

Responsibilities

• Budget preparation and adherence based on volume.
• Supply Chain Management for Department needs.
• Monitor productivity/cost per unit of service and address variances.
• Plan work assignments and resource allocation with financial impact in mind.
• Mentor and develop staff; supervise to ensure professional services.
• Conduct 30/90/annual evaluations and manage turnover with action plans.
