Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to drive.
• Ability to complete and maintain annual SLED certification.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use security-related software.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred.
• Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Control access points and verify employee and visitor credentials.
• Monitor posts, patrol areas, and security systems.
• Identify, report, and assist in resolving safety and security concerns.
• Operate security and monitoring systems (alarms, cameras, access control).
• Prepare incident reports and respond to emergencies per procedures.
• De-escalate conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Provide courteous service to employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Communicate via radio using established protocols.
